The small retreat is located on the periphery of Vouni village on a steep hillside.  The renovation of this listed building was to comply with listed planning regulations maintaining the urban environment and architectural character of the settlement, whilst incorporating contemporary common materials which use certain typological elements of tradition in an inventive manner.

The earthy materials which dress the house in combination with the traditional material such as wood and stone, compose a colour palette of similar shades, which allow the harmonic integration of the house with the landscape.

The handicraft character of the house is completed by the special wooden structures of each space, the practical details and the finishings in the interior and the exterior of the house.
